Ankur, established in 2005 is a school for economically challenged children which is funded by Ventury Engineering. In Ankur “Every Child is a King”. The school admits a total of 25 toddlers every year within the range of 2.5-3 years teaching them till the fourth grade.
Ankur is proud to achieve such an honorary award such as ‘The Caring Minds Award’ for “A School that Cares” by The Telegraph, an esteemed daily, in the year 2018. It motivates Ankur to grow larger in future by helping more unfortunate children to receive education and make their future bright.
Ankur’s immediate aim is to expand the infrastructure of the institution to educate children up to the 10th standard. This faces several challenges as funding each student for a month costs $30 while funding a class is $750 per month. It is not possible for Ventury Engineering alone to help Ankur achieve this aim and Ankur would greatly benefit from any help they could receive.
Ventury Engineering also sponsors a unique mobile library which does the rounds every evening in villages encouraging people, who would love to read but cannot afford the luxury of indulging in their hobby. The library brings the books to their home free of cost and without any need for registration encouraging the habit of reading.
